Allison Dickson Memorial

For the last seven years, our beloved friend Allison Dickson has put together an annual Holiday Gift Drive to help raise money for McLane Children's Hospital initiatives. Through her support and our generous community, Allison helped provide McLane's patients with stuffed animals, mobile games, and most recently her 2022 fundraiser allowed for a mural to be painted on the door and walls leading to the healing garden at the hospital.

Before Allison's passing, she expressed a desire for the 2023 annual Holiday Gift Drive to benefit a mural being painted in the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Unit at McLane Children's. Allison felt children with sickle cell disease, hemophilia, or life-threatening diseases such as cancer should be greeted with lots of color and life. In honor of Allison's memory, we are asking the community to come together and help make Allison's last wish for her Holiday Gift Drive come true at McLane Children's.

To Honor Allison's memory, her favorite slogan "Don't Need Easy, Just Possible" will be incorporated into the mural. We cannot think of a more fitting phrase to bring hope and inspiration to our sickest children.
