The Austin metropolitan area, including Round Rock, is one of the fastest growing regions in the United States. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is a 101-bed, full-service facility conveniently located to meet the needs of the growing population in this area. 

The phenomenal growth in Williamson and northern Travis counties precipitated the need to expand our facilies and grow our services. The hospital now includes 26 additional intensive care unit beds, four new operating suites, an endoscopy suite, and eight additional emergency room beds.

Chemotherapy patient and nurseOn average, it costs $2 million per day to keep a hospital running. As the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas, Baylor Scott & White reinvests all revenue beyond costs back into our system to help provide the highest-quality care to our patients, near their homes. The Innovation Fund helps supplement these costs by providing funds for general use to meet needs as they arise. From equipment purchases to funding for patient support groups, the Innovation Fund helps us bring the right care, to the right place, at the right time.
