As more people move to the Hill Country and Highland Lakes regions, these communities are experiencing a significant increase in demand for additional high-quality healthcare services. With Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Marble Falls and surrounding clinics in Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Burnet, Kingsland, San Saba, and Johnson City, residents in this area have access to physicians in more than 16 specialties, diagnostic services, and a 24-hour emergency department.

Philanthropic Opportunities

Third Operating Room

As the population in the Hill Country grows at a rapid pace, so too does the need for high-quality surgical care close to home. A third operating room will enable us to serve both existing and new patients as our community continues to grow. Some benefits include:

  • Increased capacity, allowing us to serve approximately 25 more patients each month
  • Increased availability for operations in specialties, such as orthopedics, opthalmology, plastic surgery, women's health, and general surgery
  • Reduced turnover time for procedures which require labor-intensive preparations

Innovation Fund

On average, it costs $2 million per day to keep a hospital running. As the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas, Baylor Scott & White reinvests all revenue beyond costs back into our system to help provide the highest-quality care to our patients, near their homes. The Innovation Fund helps supplement these costs by providing funds for general use to meet needs as they arise. From equipment purchases to funding for patient support groups, the Innovation Fund helps us bring the right care, to the right place, at the right time.
