Equipment & Facility Needs

3.0T MRI
The 3T MRI produces exceptionally detailed images of organs and soft tissue, such as the brain, spine, and musculoskeletal system to help in diagnosing various conditions. This advanced technology involves shorter scan times, maximizing patient comfort without compromising quality.

AlterG Treadmill
The AlterG Treadmill reduces gravity's impact on users, allowing patients to rehabilitate lower extremity injuries with less pain and impact; improve mobility, strength and safety for those with neurological conditions; lose weight by providing a safe way to exercise more intensively; and reduce stress to joints and muscles during training or after competition.

Bio-dex Machine
The Bio-dex Machine is used in physical therapy to measure strength following an operation. The machine measures quad and hamstring strength to identify risk for re-injury and establish an appropriate time line to return to competitive sports.

Outdoor Performance Facility
Enhances physical therapy for athletes by providing additional space for running, cutting, pitching, golf swings, volleyball and tumbling movements, etc.

Nurse-Family Partnership

Helping First-Time Parents Succeed

United Way of Waco-McLennan County logo
Nurse-Family Partnership at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center is proud to be supported by United Way of Waco-McLennan County.

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is an evidence-based, community health program that empowers low-income, first-time mothers to become confident parents and break the cycle of poverty.

We work with mothers to help them have healthy pregnancies, improve child health and development, and become more economically self-sufficient. Each mother is partnered with a registered nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing nurse home visits that continue through her child’s second birthday.
