Nurse-Family Partnership

Helping First-Time Parents Succeed

United Way of Waco-McLennan County logo
Nurse-Family Partnership at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center is proud to be supported by United Way of Waco-McLennan County.

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is an evidence-based, community health program that empowers low-income, first-time mothers to become confident parents and break the cycle of poverty.

We work with mothers to help them have healthy pregnancies, improve child health and development, and become more economically self-sufficient. Each mother is partnered with a registered nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing nurse home visits that continue through her child’s second birthday.
