Cancer patientThe Cancer Center at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - College Station provides comprehensive cancer care for thousands of patients annually, with advanced technology and an integrative approach that encompasses all our patients' needs—physical, mental, and spiritual. Patients can continue to work, attend school, and enjoy daily activities close to home while they receive life-saving cancer treatment. 

Despite enhanced treatments and diagnostic tools, cancer rates continue to increase. Your generous gifts help us meet increasing demand in all areas of cancer patient care, including support programs, clinical research, and state-of-the-art technology.

The Cordova twins celebrated their first birthday with gifts to support the NICU at BSW Medical Center - College Station where they were treated.

Your gifts to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in College Station help us provide advanced care to premature, low birth-weight, and critically ill infants through innovative technology, continued education and training for our providers, and specialized services for NICU families.

As a Level III NICU, we provide:

  • Comprehensive care and sustained life support for infants, including a full range of respiratory support
  • 16 NICU beds and 2 transition rooms
  • A team of highly-skilled professionals specially trained to care for medically fragile newborns
  • Advanced imaging services
  • Access to a full range of pediatric medical subspecialists
  • NICVIEW video monitors to allow parents to bond with their newborn even when they cannot be at the bedside


Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) Clinic

Cancer patientApproximately 6 million people in the United States are living with heart failure. At BSW - College Station, eligible patients are enrolled in a 90-day CHF clinic program designed to help them learn to manage this disease, reduce hospital readmission, and live their lives to the fullest. 

As part of the clinic, patients receive a kit to help them introduce livestyle changes, including educational materials, a low-salt cookbook, body weight scale, blood pressure monitor, and more. Since it began in 2019, the program has served more than 230 patients.
