Giving kids the chance to be kids at Camp Dreamcatcher 2026

Camp Dreamcatcher gives children receiving treatment for cancer and blood disorders the opportunity to experience the joy of summer camp in a safe, medically supported environment. Made possible entirely through donor support, the camp removes financial barriers for families while creating life-changing experiences for patients.

Throughout the week, campers are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones—whether it’s trying an activity for the first time, conquering a fear or discovering they are capable of more than they imagined. These moments of courage help build confidence, resilience and independence, equipping children with the strength to face the challenges of their medical journeys.

To ensure every child can participate safely, a dedicated medical team from McLane Children’s, including a pediatric hematologist-oncologist, remains at camp around the clock. For many families, Camp Dreamcatcher is far more than a summer camp—it’s a place where children create lifelong memories, form meaningful friendships and discover that they are stronger than their diagnosis.
