Thank you, Broncos!

Lake Belton High School (LBHS) kicked off its annual “Broncos Go Gold” fundraiser in September in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Through T-shirt sales and donations, the Broncos raised funds to support pediatric cancer care at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center.

Joined on the field by Tatum and Cohan—two LBHS students who themselves survived cancer with help from McLane Children’s—members of the Broncos Cheer Booster Club presented a check to McLane Children’s at the LBHS home football game on September 22. Moved by the cause, spectators donated enough to bring their grand total to more than $10,500! Thank you, Broncos!
