Update on Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

A big thank you goes out to all our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) partners who helped raise more than $1.3 million in 2020 to benefit Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center - Temple.

Aggie Miracle
Due to COVID-19 precautions, the annual Texas A&M Dance Marathon became an outdoor movie night to celebrate another great fundraising year, with a grand total of $87,575.59 to support McLane Children’s.

Radiothon
KTAM and KORA radio stations in the Bryan/College Station area raised more than $33,000 as part of their first radiothons in support of CMNH and McLane Children’s.

Spirit Halloween
Spirit Halloween stores raised $71,669 for the Child Life department at McLane Children’s as part of their annual fundraiser to help make the hospital less scary for children and their families.


How your CMNH donations make an impact at Mclane Children's:

  • Charitable Care - Financial assistance with the cost of patient care, including medical bills, equipment, and travel assistance.
  • Equipment - Funding for all types of life-saving medical equipment, such as giraffe beds, CT scanners, ambulances, etc.
  • Research - Funding to help create medical advances, find cures, and engage in clinical trials.
  • Education - Continuing education for medical staff, school services for patients, and health education programs for the community.
  • Advancement Services - Funding for capital projects and innovative programs and services designed to advance the hospital’s mission.
  • Patient Services - Support for programs such as Child Life, pet therapy, play rooms, pastoral care, telemedicine, etc.
