Though the event was rained out, our 2024 Birdies & Bids sponsors still made an impact at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center – College Station.
You helped fund support services offered at no cost to patients so they can focus on healing. including a shuttle service for patients who do not have reliable transportation to their appointments. Your gifts also supported nurse navigators who serve as a point person, advocate and educator for patients throughout their cancer journey.
Your gifts also benefitted fundraising initiatives for advanced technology, such as enhancements to the linear accelerator for radiation.

At the inaugural Birdies & Bids, featured guest speaker R.C. Slocum, legendary Texas A&M University football coach, shared his own experience with cancer and treatment at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center – College Station. Our sponsors generously supported a transportation van to help patients in rural Washington County make the trip to College Station for cancer treatment.
