Dell was an extraordinary leader and a deeply respected colleague and friend. She led with grace, unwavering integrity, and a rare combination of confidence and compassion. Her commitment to doing what was right—for patients, families, and her team—was evident in everything she did.

Over 26 years of dedicated service to Baylor Scott & White, Dell built a legacy defined by vision, excellence, and an enduring devotion to children’s health. As president of McLane Children’s, she established a strong foundation that will continue to shape the future of care for generations to come.

Dell’s influence extended far beyond the walls of the hospital. She was a dedicated leader in both her profession and her community:

  • President of McLane Children’s Medical Center
  • 26 years of progressive leadership at Baylor Scott & White
  • Master of Ceremonies for the system’s Martin Luther King Jr. celebration
  • Chair of the 2025 Temple Heart Ball
  • Proud alumna of the University of Alabama
  • Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

She was deeply committed to the people she served and the community she loved. Dell is survived by her husband, Greg, her two sons, William and Nicholas, and a precious grandbaby due this summer.
