Critical Equipment

Access to specialty care is limited for rural residents. With your support, we can fund the critical equipment needed to bring advanced care to residents across the Hill Country.

Emergency Department

A video laryngoscope aids doctors in the placement of breathing tubes. It works both as a regular and video laryngoscope, making it easier to manage difficult airways and keep patients safe during emergency intubation.

Cardiology

Echo Ultrasound Machine

An echocardiogram can help physicians diagnose and monitor heart conditions, providing real-time visualization of heart structures and motion and allowing for detection of a variety of conditions before symptoms become severe.

Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump

This device helps the heart pump blood by inflating and deflating a balloon within the aorta, to improve blood flow to the heart and other organs. It’s especially helpful for patients in cardiogenic shock, when the heart can’t pump enough blood to meet the needs of the body, or during high-risk heart procedures.

Orthopedics

A surgical robotic arm, enables physicians to plan and perform hip replacement surgeries with greater precision, leading to longer-lasting joint replacements and more natural movement for the patient.

Labor & Delivery

Modern and cableless fetal monitors track a baby’s heartbeat and the mother’s uterine contractions, while allowing the mother to move freely. This design has been shown to shorten labor duration, reduce pain and reduce the need for interventions.
