Cancer care in Greater Austin

Though cancer treatment often involves weekly or even daily therapies, care available close to home allows patients to continue to work, attend school, and enjoy daily activities without the need to travel far for treatment.

A growing need for hope and healing

As Austin, Round Rock and the surrounding communities grow, so too does the need for advanced cancer care.

In fact, over the past four years, the volume of oncology patients seen at our facilities throughout Greater Austin has increased at a rate nearly 1.5 times that of primary care services.

How you can help

With your help, we can continue to meet the needs of our community with quality cancer treatment, close to home. Your gifts may support:

Expanding space & services

The need for cancer treatment services in our community has grown substantially in just a few years. Your gifts can provide additional space, advanced equipment and enhanced services to allow us to serve more patients.

Transportation

Cancer treatment often involves weekly or even daily appointments, which can present a challenge for patients who do not have reliable transportation. Your gifts can support a ride share program offered free-of-charge to cancer patients in need.

Nurse Navigators

Your gifts can support the expansion of our nurse navigator program, which helps guide and support patients and their caregivers through what can be an overwhelming and emotional experience.

Nurse navigators partner with patients from their diagnosis, throughout treatment and into survivorship. These certified nurses serve as a point person, advocate, educator and guide, all at no cost to the patient. They handle logistical and administrative details large and small, allowing patients and families to focus on healing.
