For more than twenty years, the annual Valentine Gala has been a cherished tradition celebrating both community and philanthropy. Our supporters play a crucial role in supporting quality local healthcare at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Brenham.
This year, our goal is to expand imaging capabilities, giving physicians clearer information, helping patients begin treatment sooner, and expanding access to potentially life-saving stroke, heart and cancer care.
What this means for patients:
- The former ICU space will be transformed into an expanded imaging center
- Upgrade to the existing CT Scanner to allow for advanced stroke imaging and coronary calcium scoring to identify early risk factors for heart disease
- A new, second CT Scanner dedicated to outpatient imaging, freeing up the existing scanner for use in the ER
- New, next-generation MRI system to perform imaging of the breast, prostate, abdomen and more, reducing scan times by up to 50%
